KIT: Wood Chip Bin, HO 1:87, Sawdust Storage

THE KIT VERSION one-of-a-kind HO scale (1:87) model of a wood chip storage bin. This equipment is used to store lumber mill wood chips, a by-product of the lumber manufacturing industry. This Chip Bin is normally used to load semi-trucks which haul the wood chips away to be made into OSB (oriented strand board) aka "chip board" 4x8 sheets. If there's a lumber mill with rails nearby, you'll most often find one of these Chip Bins just standing there waiting to be unloaded. Typically there will be a conveyor belt coming from the mill which goes up to the top of the Chip Bin. This Bin kit does not come with a belt, but that kit is available separately. Eight prototype photos mixed in. It's HO scale, 2.75" wide, 2.5" long, 7.5" tall.
