What is a Fiber-Tree, you ask? Well, truth-be-told, I was after the elusive Ponderosa / Lodgepole tree. I thought I had it, and then, it just slipped away. However, I was left with this enchanting specimen of a tree, with unique characteristics, and somewhat separate and different from the other trees I make. This is not "over the top" foliage application! This is "from the side" sequential application of fibers of various lengths. Each application must dry thoroughly before that which follows. Ahh... you get the idea now!
In essence then what we have here is a new kind of armature...and perhaps not so new, but new to me, new to us, this motley crew of tree manufacturing enthusiasts we are. And what is so great about "fibertrees"-it is the detail which is capable with this "technology": each with multiple bifurcations, and each of those again multiplied, with every successive application! It is as close as I may ever get to a true fractal pattern, that which is inherent to the genetics contained within real trees! (Edit: Okay, that was a bit much, but we'll go with it for now." )
